Walton Village Hall, near Wetherby in West Yorkshire, is very well-loved by its community. The charming 19th-century building is set in the tiny village of Walton, which is surrounded by farmland close to the A1. It was used as the village school and today serves as a place for the local community to meet as well as serving as a beautiful wedding reception venue.
An intimate space, neutrally decorated with beautiful high ceilings, charming high windows, and luxury flooring, the Village Hall is the perfect setting for your wedding reception, party, or dinner.
Wedding Reception Hire Costs
Our Wedding hire package £750 for one day, £1300 for 2 days and £1800 for three days. Price includes use of playground and exclusive use on the day of the wedding*.
*A refundable security deposit of £200 will be rehired upon final invoice payment. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
The Weekend Wedding Reception Venue Package
Adjacent to the hall is a playground run by Walton Parish Council, which has plenty of space for a marquee, and external lighting and power supply. We have an agreement with the council to use the playground for a limited number of events per year.
Marquee Usage for Weddings
At Walton Village Hall, the safety and enjoyment of our guests is our highest priority. Over many years, we have worked alongside a wide range of marquee suppliers and have gained significant experience of hosting weddings and outdoor celebrations within the Village Hall grounds.
Due to the exposed nature of our location, the site can experience high winds and challenging weather conditions at any time of the year.
Based on this experience, and to ensure the highest standards of safety for our customers and their guests, our Terms and Conditions now require that any marquee or temporary structure erected within the Village Hall playground for wedding celebrations is supplied and installed by our preferred partner Hale Marquees.
