Welcome to our Village Hall playground fundraising page where we are delighted to be working in partnership with Ellie from ScapeSchool.
Scapeschool is a fabulous school holiday club and has been operating for a number of years serving hundreds of families and children from the local surrounding areas. The children thrive in the wonderful facilities available in the hall and playground under the caring and nurturing guidance of Ellie.
During this Summer’s school break, we had a significant amount of feedback from parents and families, who said that they would love to see further investment in facilities in the playground – especially a gazebo. This would provide shade from the sun and a place for all to take a break.

We also know that many local families enjoy the benefits that the playground brings, and adding more seating and areas for a sandwich and a quick drink with friends perhaps, would be a wonderful addition to the Village Hall and the playground.
Therefore, we embarking on a fundraising campaign to raise £14,000 for the installation of a gazebo in the playground. Whilst we recognise that 14,000 is an ambitious target – if we do not quite get to this amount and can’t raise it from additional sources, then we will use the money to invest in other suitable playground equipment following consultation with the local families.
Because of the charitable status of the Hall, taxpayers using Gift Aid can help increase the impact of donations made by 25%.
