With a village main hall of over 60 square meters, Walton Hall is the ideal location for training or a team offsite / briefing.
Up to 60 people can be seated in a variety of configurations across ten tables. The hall has a modern kitchen and private grounds – just the right location for annual training, planning your future strategy or a chance to team build and refocus for the next quarter.
Catering can be provided. We can organise drinks and refreshments throughout the day and lunch, breakfast, or both. We also have an 85 inch plasma TV with sound system for streaming or presentation purposes.

We hired the Hall for 2 Days, using the space for our ceremony, hosting drinks and canapes in the courtyard outside (while our wonderful wedding party transformed the space inside) our wedding breakfast, and finally dancing after another brief transformation.
The Hall had everything we needed, including chairs, trestle tables and all the crockery, cutlery and glassware we needed for our 50 guests, which made things so easy on the day. The facilities were excellent, clean, well-stocked. A lovely kitchen with fridge space and plenty of accessible toilets for all our guests. The venue offered amazing value for money, and the service was outstanding.
You are responsible for disposing of your own waste when you leave, but there is a Waste Recycling Centre a 5 min drive away on the Thorpe Arch Estate so even that was a breeze.
Leah a pleasure, and had no quibble with answering my many questions in the run up to the day. A special mention to Mark, who went above and beyond to fix an issue with the speaker system on the morning of the wedding, super star!
Highly recommend this venue for anyone planning their big day.

There were plenty of chairs and tables, the Wi-Fi was great and the TV screen is massive and has a great audio system which was super easy to connect to with HDMI.
The kitchen is also well equipped, plenty of cutlery, plates ,cups and glasses. The bar area was also great for handing out drinks.
Mark the host was very responsive via email and phone.

Special Events Fundraiser at Martin House Children's Hospice
The main hall is quite large but it's the onlh room guest have. We comfortably fit everyone in for lunch, dancing and a full home made buffet. But the room needed adjusting to accomodate.
The exterior is picturesque and spacious, surrounded by fields on all sides and is a great template to make it your own.
Parking may be an issue, but guest can park around the streets of the neighbouring village
The venue was perfect and we had such a wonderful day. Everything was super clean and tidy on arrival and there was plenty of crockery, tables and chairs for our use.
We will be back. Thank you to everyone who runs the facility. 🙏
It is a small hall so birthday party sizes should be no more than 20 to allow space for moving about and dinner tables.
Positive: A well looked after space all around, a small playground outside, and there are 2 parts to the kitchen area, one on display looking into the hall, and one just behind for all the mess that inevitably happens in the kitchen. (A great place to hide away!)
Negatives: small car park but it's gravelled so won't get slippery. No curtains on the windows (at my last visit a few months ago) so no way to adjust light levels on a sunny day for disco lights.
Had amazing comments from parents saying how lovely the hall was and the stunning surroundings. We sure will be back to hold more sessions with Little Bambino’s.

I held a retreat morning here - it was perfect. Warm, beautifully renovated, a fully function kitchen with everything you might need, comfortable fold away chairs..

We hosted 40 adults, 8 kids and 10 babies. Everyone commented how beautiful the hall was, with modern, fresh facilities and lots of charm and character.
We squeezed in a mobile bar, pop up soft play and a pizza van outside. In dry weather the park next door is perfect for older kids.

The venue is beautiful and the recent refurbishment is really complimentary to the original building. The hall is also run very efficiently, it was easy to book and any correspondence was dealt with promptly. We ordered in a load of china and other bits and pieces including some small round tables, (I mention just because they’re in the picture - we got them from a company on the thorp arch estate so very easy) but we needn’t have bothered as it’s very well equipped, we were just going for a particular aesthetic. The layout with the bar area and kitchen behind is great for any event where you are serving food and drinks as it gives it a focal point and makes it easy to bring stuff out of the kitchen whilst still being aesthetically pleasing. It was also really nice and clean as well as reasonably priced. I couldn’t fault it and would love to host another event there again.
All the parents commented on how gorgeous a venue it is and the playground attached was a huge hit with the children. We will definitely be booking again and looking out for other events to attend there!
The location is excellent for people travelling from different parts of the country. The size of the hall was ideal for a group of 40 people.
The recent refurbishment means that the condition of the hall and facilities are excellent. We all loved being able to make use of the outside space with the play park on a gorgeous afternoon in August. Everyone at the event was impressed with Walton Hall.

I can’t recommend Walton Village Hall enough if you need the ideal function venue in the area.
Due to good weather we managed to have bouncy castle in the area - good access to electrics for outdoors . The children were able to use the playground to its full advantage. Safe area and able to supervise - we advised parking on the road so gates could be closed to make extra safe .Kitchen facilities , crockery, glassware and cutlery plentiful and good accessible toilets - even toddler seats if needed. Well done and the outdoor lights looked so pretty. The instructions to access were clear and the friendly caretaker showed me around prior .
We were having an “end of treatment party” for our 8 year old grandson so there were mix of ages from friends and family and it suited us well.
