Lovely hall, perfect venue for a party. We celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday party here today.

Realy nice place to have partys or gatherings.

The perfect space for our daughter’s 18th. It’s such a pretty hall, and has modern kitchen and toilet facilities. Everything you need. Loads of her friends commented on the venue.

We had a fantastic time at Walton Village Hall for our Humanist Wedding! It is a stunning venue, and provided the perfect, rustic and historical backdrop for our special day. With gorgeous stone built architecture inside and out, and scenic views over the fields.

We hired the Hall for 2 Days, using the space for our ceremony, hosting drinks and canapes in the courtyard outside (while our wonderful wedding party transformed the space inside) our wedding breakfast, and finally dancing after another brief transformation.

The Hall had everything we needed, including chairs, trestle tables and all the crockery, cutlery and glassware we needed for our 50 guests, which made things so easy on the day. The facilities were excellent, clean, well-stocked. A lovely kitchen with fridge space and plenty of accessible toilets for all our guests. The venue offered amazing value for money, and the service was outstanding.

You are responsible for disposing of your own waste when you leave, but there is a Waste Recycling Centre a 5 min drive away on the Thorpe Arch Estate so even that was a breeze.

Leah a pleasure, and had no quibble with answering my many questions in the run up to the day. A special mention to Mark, who went above and beyond to fix an issue with the speaker system on the morning of the wedding, super star!

Highly recommend this venue for anyone planning their big day.

This venue is perfect in every way. We have used this venue for a private function as well as for regular work events (Martin House Children’s Hospice) The booking process is easy and confirmation and contact with the Hall is also super easy and helpful. The Hall is located in a lovely village and surrounded by countryside. The Hall is always clean and well kept and the facilities are superb. Thank you so much for your continued support for Martin House - - the families attending our events have said what a wonderful welcoming space this is. We look forward to continuing to use the Hall for private and work events.

I use the hall weekly to host my Yoga classes. It’s always clean & tidy and extremely well equipped. Everything from the sound system to the heating all work brilliantly too. It is as lovely in real life as the photos suggest with the inside & out both being extremely pretty. The hall is well organised by a super team of local volunteers whom are helpful & supportive. Nothing is too much trouble. I love this venue & you will too.

Such a lovely venue, perfect for our son’s first birthday celebrations. All the facilities you need including really good surround sound speakers. Managed to fit soft play and a bouncy castle in fine. We had loads of fun and lots of people commented on what a lovely space and location. Would definitely use again and recommend.

A beautiful, intimate setting for our wedding which couldn't have been any more perfect. The Hall was always pretty but with it's renovations it is a great space with most everything thought through for the users of the space. We put a marquee on the playing field next door and it worked really well as a venue - don't hesitate - go and check it out now!

The Walton Village Hall is beautiful and was a perfect location for our "business meeting" with approximately 45 people.

There were plenty of chairs and tables, the Wi-Fi was great and the TV screen is massive and has a great audio system which was super easy to connect to with HDMI.
The kitchen is also well equipped, plenty of cutlery, plates ,cups and glasses. The bar area was also great for handing out drinks.

Mark the host was very responsive via email and phone.

Special Events Fundraiser at Martin House Children's Hospice

Lovely little place, it won't do for your high end, 100+ attendee weddings but a close knit, personal get together is what this place is meant for.

The main hall is quite large but it's the onlh room guest have. We comfortably fit everyone in for lunch, dancing and a full home made buffet. But the room needed adjusting to accomodate.

The exterior is picturesque and spacious, surrounded by fields on all sides and is a great template to make it your own.

Parking may be an issue, but guest can park around the streets of the neighbouring village

I hired Walton Village Hall to run my Pilates and wellbeing day retreat. The comments from everyone on arrival was “wow” this is so beautiful! They are spot on! Such a gorgeous building.

The venue was perfect and we had such a wonderful day. Everything was super clean and tidy on arrival and there was plenty of crockery, tables and chairs for our use.

We will be back. Thank you to everyone who runs the facility. 🙏

I've visited this venue as an entertainer twice, once before the renovations and once after. It was a fab little hall before and the refresh has brought it up to a cleaner modern standard! New toilets, fresh paint, and even the removal of the fireplace and the chunky caged heaters from the hall (see second picture) have made a huge difference.
It is a small hall so birthday party sizes should be no more than 20 to allow space for moving about and dinner tables.

Positive: A well looked after space all around, a small playground outside, and there are 2 parts to the kitchen area, one on display looking into the hall, and one just behind for all the mess that inevitably happens in the kitchen. (A great place to hide away!)

Negatives: small car park but it's gravelled so won't get slippery. No curtains on the windows (at my last visit a few months ago) so no way to adjust light levels on a sunny day for disco lights.

Beautiful venue, great amenities, wonderful care taker and very well looked after. We had a fabulous time for our christening and 1st birthday party, will be booking again for many more celebrations. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Samantha and Jordon

We hired the hall for a birthday party and the hall is lovely with all the amenities you need onsite. Plenty of space to serve food and the kitchen is fantastic. It’s very reasonable to hire and would definitely hire again.

We booked the village hall our first Stay and Play baby/toddler session. The hall is stunning and has everything you need.
Had amazing comments from parents saying how lovely the hall was and the stunning surroundings. We sure will be back to hold more sessions with Little Bambino’s.

This is the second time we have hired Walton Village Hall, however the first time since it has been newly renovated for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party. It is a fantastic venue with all the facilities you need, with a great addition of a new TV and sound system which was really easy to setup. Our guests commented on how gorgeous both the venue and surrounding areas are and i wholeheartedly agree. Ample parking for those who drive and easy access to the bus route for those who don’t, with the bus stop only being down the road. Definitely recommend for parties/baby showers/anything of the sort! And I’ll definitely be hiring again in the future 🥰

Fantastic village hall. Had our daughters 6th bday here for approx 20 of them. Great for that size. Hall is modern, clean and everything you could need. Perfect!!

Beautiful space for an event, with all the equipment you need. The hall itself is located on the edge of Walton village with parking. Inside the hall is stunning with lovely panelling, stone and beams.

Easy to book good communication and website. Would highly recommend!

I held a retreat morning here - it was perfect. Warm, beautifully renovated, a fully function kitchen with everything you might need, comfortable fold away chairs..

Thank you Walton village hall for being the perfect party venue for our daughter's 1st birthday in February.

We hosted 40 adults, 8 kids and 10 babies. Everyone commented how beautiful the hall was, with modern, fresh facilities and lots of charm and character.

We squeezed in a mobile bar, pop up soft play and a pizza van outside. In dry weather the park next door is perfect for older kids.

Thank you to all the volunteers at Walton village hall, we've made some very special memories.

We used the hall at the end of July for my daughter’s christening celebration. I appreciate it was a few months ago now and I don’t usually leave reviews, but it was such a lovely venue that I’ve finally got round to leaving one!

The venue is beautiful and the recent refurbishment is really complimentary to the original building. The hall is also run very efficiently, it was easy to book and any correspondence was dealt with promptly. We ordered in a load of china and other bits and pieces including some small round tables, (I mention just because they’re in the picture - we got them from a company on the thorp arch estate so very easy) but we needn’t have bothered as it’s very well equipped, we were just going for a particular aesthetic. The layout with the bar area and kitchen behind is great for any event where you are serving food and drinks as it gives it a focal point and makes it easy to bring stuff out of the kitchen whilst still being aesthetically pleasing. It was also really nice and clean as well as reasonably priced. I couldn’t fault it and would love to host another event there again.

From Sally Genn - we’ve just held an 80th Birthday celebration at Walton Village Hall and it was the perfect venue. We’ve held a few events there and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The recent renovations mean that the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the Hall is well equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING you could require! Thank you so much - we’ll definitely be back!

We hired the hall for our daughter’s 8th birthday and it exceeded all expectations and more. Everywhere was sparkly clean, warm and inviting and well stocked with equipment.
All the parents commented on how gorgeous a venue it is and the playground attached was a huge hit with the children. We will definitely be booking again and looking out for other events to attend there!

Brilliant facility to hire, really well looked after and all our guests said what a lovely space it is and how nice the building is. The kitchen and toilets are immaculate and the tables and chairs were also in excellent condition. We will definitely use it again in the future.

We hired for a 3rd birthday, it was great such a lovely clean venue for a party, we will definitely use it again. We had so many compliments of how nice it was in comparison to venues we have been to previously! Great work from the volunteers for making it such a lovely place

This venue is ideal for a family gathering.
The location is excellent for people travelling from different parts of the country. The size of the hall was ideal for a group of 40 people.

The recent refurbishment means that the condition of the hall and facilities are excellent. We all loved being able to make use of the outside space with the play park on a gorgeous afternoon in August. Everyone at the event was impressed with Walton Hall.

This village hall was perfect for my son's birthday. It's beautiful, clean, and affordable. Plus the playground is great! The correspondence with the booking organisers was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

We had our 10th Anniversary BBQ for Wetherby and District Foodbank at Walton Village Hall. I cannot recommend the venue enough! The modern facilities within a building so full of character made it all the better. Any questions were answered quickly and and nothing was too much trouble.

What a gorgeous space! We hired it for our son’s upcoming birthday. It was spotless and fully equipped with everything you could think of. The outside space was great, in a beautiful setting and it was all so easy. Mark was super helpful and on hand for any questions. A number of the other parents commented on what a lovely event space it was. It has soul! Will definitely use again next year.

This weekend I had the pleasure of hosting a family party for someones 70th birthday at Walton Village Hall. Everything about this little gem of a venue was first class, from booking months ago, correspondence, to the venue’s facilities. It has just undergone a huge refurb and the interior is of the highest quality. Access for wheelchairs was needed for a couple of guests and the accessible entrance and facilities made that smooth and problem free. The kitchen and serving area was impeccable enabling hosting to be a pleasure.

I can’t recommend Walton Village Hall enough if you need the ideal function venue in the area.

What a brilliant place for a function …. It was ideal and would highly recommend.
Due to good weather we managed to have bouncy castle in the area - good access to electrics for outdoors . The children were able to use the playground to its full advantage. Safe area and able to supervise - we advised parking on the road so gates could be closed to make extra safe .Kitchen facilities , crockery, glassware and cutlery plentiful and good accessible toilets - even toddler seats if needed. Well done and the outdoor lights looked so pretty. The instructions to access were clear and the friendly caretaker showed me around prior .
We were having an “end of treatment party” for our 8 year old grandson so there were mix of ages from friends and family and it suited us well.

I run a holiday club each school holiday from Walton Village Hall and I only have amazing things to say about this facility. Both myself and the children are in complete awe of this gorgeous village hall, it is such a great space, very clean and in a lovely location. The park onsite is a brilliant addition and keeps the children very happy! Lots of our parents have used the hall for their childrens parties and were equally happy. During winter the hall looks so beautiful, one parent told me 'I feel like I'm driving to a retreat when I can see the lights in the distance'. I have used this space for over 3 years and have no plans to go elsewhere! Thank you to Mark, Brian and everyone else who works so hard to maintain a gorgeous facility!

Amazing location so beautiful blown away!

We first came across this absolutely delightful Village Hall nine years ago when it was the venue for our wedding breakfast. We loved it so much at that time that we decided there could be no other hall in the area that could provide such beauty, character, and facilities. The kitchen and bar are absolutely stacked high with everything you need for a function and the hall provides a romantic setting for any special occasion. We were therefore delighted that we were able to celebrate our Mum's 100th birthday at this stunning venue. Guests also commented on the magic of the place. When the next special occasion comes along we will have no hesitation in contacting Walton Village Hall once again.
