Attended a wedding here and it is a stunning setting for any celebration! Beautiful property, spotless facilities and well maintained grounds.

After looking into pretty much every single wedding venue in the whole of Yorkshire, we are so glad we decided to have our wedding at Walton Village Hall. We fell in love with this charming venue as soon as we walked through the front gate and we never looked back. So charming, well organised and well looked after, the hall and its surrounding outdoor space provided the perfect canvas for our personal DIY wedding ceremony and reception which we could really make our own. We had about 60 guests and a marquee up in the adjoining field. Mark made us feel really looked after and Walton Village Hall will always have a special place in our hearts. Can’t wait to be back for bonfire night and get all nostalgic about our perfect wedding day here!

A truly perfect wedding venue We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for our wedding. The village hall is surrounded by beautiful, picturesque fields, with horses in the field behind us, which made such a lovely backdrop for our day. We had a beautiful ceremony with 40 of our closest family and friends, led by our celebrant and the setting was absolutely perfect. We then made use of the park/field at the side of the hall, where we had hay bales set up outside in front of our band. The venue had plenty of power sockets available, which made things so much easier when arranging the band and other suppliers. We hired a pizza van for the evening and were able to make great use of the car park area for tables, which worked brilliantly. We had around 80 guests join us for the evening and the whole space worked so well for our wedding, giving us the flexibility to create the day we had imagined. A special mention has to go to the wedding coordinator Leah, who was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful throughout. She went above and beyond to help us, and as she is also a florist, we ended up using her to create our wedding flowers too. They were beautiful and added so much to the day. We also had the pleasure of meeting some of the committee members, who were so kind and helpful and even provided all of the crockery for us. Everyone involved genuinely wanted to help make our day special, and that made such a difference. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxed and flexible venue where you can really make the space your own, we couldn’t recommend this village hall enough. It gave us everything we wanted for our wedding and more, and we will always have such wonderful memories of our day there. ❤️

Great venue for my wifes 60th party. Lovely setting and good facilities

We’ve hosted a couple of events at Walton Village Hall, and it’s been a fantastic experience every time. Mark was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout, making everything so easy from start to finish. The hall is a great size, with beautiful surroundings and lovely outdoor space. The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped, and having access to tables and chairs made setting up our events really straightforward. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the toilets, and it’s clear the hall is very well looked after. The TV and audio system were a great addition and worked perfectly for our celebrations. We’ve made some wonderful memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Walton Village Hall to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped venue for their special event.

Walton Village Hall was the perfect venue for my event. Situated in a beautiful location, it included great facilities (including a large playground) at an incredible price.

This is the second time I have hired the hall for my Pilates retreats. The space / location is perfect and there is everything you could need there on site. My clients love the hall and always ask when I am running my next event there. I will be back.

Old architecture nice

Excellent venue for parties - stunning location, excellent facilities (sound system, kitchen, bar area, several separate toilets including disabled access, outdoor playground)

We had my daughter’s 5th birthday at Walton Village Hall. It’s a beautiful hall, which has been tastefully decorated keeping a lot of original features and beautiful stone walls. The kitchen facilities are good and the toilets are excellent. We choose this village hall for the great accessibility because my daughter is a wheelchair user. The hall has a steady ramp making access into the main building really easy and the disabled toilet is very large. Which is excellent. The tables and chairs provided are all an excellent quality and the sound system is good too! There is also an outside playground available for use. Luckily we had a sunny day, but this would be an even more useful addition in summer time when the weather is more predictable. Our booking was January but we were lucky with the weather. The car park is small but there is unrestricted parking on the road. Overall an excellent venue and my husband wants to book again!

Went here for my son's birthday party. Lovely place spotless very modern, was more of a kids party,it was my son's 40th so they organised it around the children. Highly recommended ample parking, kitchen area fully equipped, seating and tables available and toilets and sound system.

Lovely hall, perfect venue for a party. We celebrated my daughter’s 7th birthday party here today.

Realy nice place to have partys or gatherings.

The perfect space for our daughter’s 18th. It’s such a pretty hall, and has modern kitchen and toilet facilities. Everything you need. Loads of her friends commented on the venue.

We had a fantastic time at Walton Village Hall for our Humanist Wedding! It is a stunning venue, and provided the perfect, rustic and historical backdrop for our special day. With gorgeous stone built architecture inside and out, and scenic views over the fields. We hired the Hall for 2 Days, using the space for our ceremony, hosting drinks and canapes in the courtyard outside (while our wonderful wedding party transformed the space inside) our wedding breakfast, and finally dancing after another brief transformation. The Hall had everything we needed, including chairs, trestle tables and all the crockery, cutlery and glassware we needed for our 50 guests, which made things so easy on the day. The facilities were excellent, clean, well-stocked. A lovely kitchen with fridge space and plenty of accessible toilets for all our guests. The venue offered amazing value for money, and the service was outstanding. You are responsible for disposing of your own waste when you leave, but there is a Waste Recycling Centre a 5 min drive away on the Thorpe Arch Estate so even that was a breeze. Leah a pleasure, and had no quibble with answering my many questions in the run up to the day. A special mention to Mark, who went above and beyond to fix an issue with the speaker system on the morning of the wedding, super star! Highly recommend this venue for anyone planning their big day. Thank you so much!

This venue is perfect in every way. We have used this venue for a private function as well as for regular work events (Martin House Children’s Hospice) The booking process is easy and confirmation and contact with the Hall is also super easy and helpful. The Hall is located in a lovely village and surrounded by countryside. The Hall is always clean and well kept and the facilities are superb. Thank you so much for your continued support for Martin House - - the families attending our events have said what a wonderful welcoming space this is. We look forward to continuing to use the Hall for private and work events.

I use the hall weekly to host my Yoga classes. It’s always clean & tidy and extremely well equipped. Everything from the sound system to the heating all work brilliantly too. It is as lovely in real life as the photos suggest with the inside & out both being extremely pretty. The hall is well organised by a super team of local volunteers whom are helpful & supportive. Nothing is too much trouble. I love this venue & you will too.

Such a lovely venue, perfect for our son’s first birthday celebrations. All the facilities you need including really good surround sound speakers. Managed to fit soft play and a bouncy castle in fine. We had loads of fun and lots of people commented on what a lovely space and location. Would definitely use again and recommend.

A beautiful, intimate setting for our wedding which couldn't have been any more perfect. The Hall was always pretty but with it's renovations it is a great space with most everything thought through for the users of the space. We put a marquee on the playing field next door and it worked really well as a venue - don't hesitate - go and check it out now!

The Walton Village Hall is beautiful and was a perfect location for our "business meeting" with approximately 45 people. There were plenty of chairs and tables, the Wi-Fi was great and the TV screen is massive and has a great audio system which was super easy to connect to with HDMI. The kitchen is also well equipped, plenty of cutlery, plates ,cups and glasses. The bar area was also great for handing out drinks. Mark the host was very responsive via email and phone. Thank you so much for hosting us, we really appreciate your support for the charity! Kind regards, Sharon van der Vet Special Events Fundraiser at Martin House Children's Hospice

Lovely little place, it won't do for your high end, 100+ attendee weddings but a close knit, personal get together is what this place is meant for. The main hall is quite large but it's the onlh room guest have. We comfortably fit everyone in for lunch, dancing and a full home made buffet. But the room needed adjusting to accomodate. The exterior is picturesque and spacious, surrounded by fields on all sides and is a great template to make it your own. Parking may be an issue, but guest can park around the streets of the neighbouring village

I hired Walton Village Hall to run my Pilates and wellbeing day retreat. The comments from everyone on arrival was “wow” this is so beautiful! They are spot on! Such a gorgeous building. The venue was perfect and we had such a wonderful day. Everything was super clean and tidy on arrival and there was plenty of crockery, tables and chairs for our use. We will be back. Thank you to everyone who runs the facility. 🙏
